Early Trauma Approach to EMDR Therapy Clinical Evaluation

Thank you for your interest to learn more about this project!
We want to find out if the early trauma approach to EMDR (ET-EMDR) can effectively change anxious or avoidant insecure attachment to more secure attachment and be a possible treatment for Complex PTSD.

The diagnosis of Complex PTSD was added to the International Classification of Diseases, 11th Edition last month to provide a more tailored treatment so it is a great time to find out if ET-EMDR could be added.

If you are interested in becoming a clinician to provide ET-EMDR for your clients or have had the opportunity to do so, please send me a message below.
Overall, in addition to providing the ET-EMDR approach in the relevant time frames (i.e., preconception, conception, gestation, etc.), clients would take brief questionnaires to assess for the attachment and Complex PTSD for clinical progress before treatment and after each session. If the client can do more questionnaires on looking to see if we can reduce any symptoms of anxiety, depression, emotion dysregulation, and increase self-esteem and well-being, that would be great, too!
